My father wanted me to pursue a career in perfumery and get educated in France, considering it is a 3rd generation Family business.
I always believed that my sense of smell was weak and I was sensitive to aromas. But my conceptual and strong visual sense compensated for that, not to mention a passion in design. I pursued a career in Fashion and worked in New York City’s fashion world, heading a design department for a multi million dollar company.
As chase would have it, in 2012 I moved from New York to Montréal QC, Canada. While learning French at Cégep du Vieux Montréal, I was introduced to “Centre Urbaine” which led to the curiosity in Herbalism and all things natural that helped me with the chronic health issue I struggled with for a very long time. This inspired me to explore and learn Herbalism “The French Way”. The science and art of making health and beauty products using natural ingredients like: Essential oils, Butters, Oils, Beeswax, plant based waxes and medicinal plants with therapeutic benefits. That’s how Bien-Êtrre (Well-Beeing) came in to existence. In my case my personal journey to health led me to a professional one.
I am fascinated by the honey bees which is responsible for 1/3 of Human food chain. Since we use natural ingredients in our products it seems appropriate to honor the Queen Bee by using her as our brand ambassador and as our logo. 
We avoid using carcinogenic ingredients like BHA, BHT, DEA (Diethanolamine), MEA, and TEA, Coal Tar dyes, Parabens, PEG compounds, Petroleum, Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Siloxanes.

Beeswax also contains vitamin A, which may be beneficial in softening and rehydrating dry skin and in cell reconstruction.
